First, the sprayer

1. A sprayer that produces fine, moist, and dense mists should be selected. The material from which the sprayer is made should not react with the salt solution.

3. If the spray uses compressed air, it is required:

a. The compressed air entering the sprayer must first remove impurities such as oil and sand.

b. Adjust the spray pressure appropriately so that the salt spray settlement can satisfy 1~2mL/80cm2?h.

c. In order to prevent the crystal salt from clogging the spray port, the relative humidity of the spray port should be not less than 85%. For this purpose, the air can be passed through a water-filled purification humidifier in the form of small bubbles. The water temperature must not be lower than the test temperature.

Second, the wet heat box

The wet heat box shall meet the equipment requirements in GB/T2423.3-81 "Basic Environmental Test Procedures for Electrical and Electronic Products Test Ca: Constant Damp Heat Test Method", that is, the relative humidity is 40±2 °C.
