WAYNE GREGORY established GREGORY Backpacking Company in San Diego, California in 1977. Initially this start-up company produced backpacks in the back room of Wayne's retail store. Customers come to his retail store and like to chat with him and share with him the use of hiking and backpacking, and from time to time make some suggestions. Therefore, many new products of Gregory backpacks have absorbed these customers' suggestions.
Gregory has been working on designing better backpacks for hiking, climbing and rock climbing. After accumulating years of experience, Gregory has recently launched some new products, mainly involved in outdoor sports such as adventure cross-country. Gregory will continue to work hard and continue to follow Wayne's quest for ergonomics, innovative design and quality.


At the Nanjing Outdoor Show, Gregory's DION came to China and accepted the visit of Greenfield.

Q: First of all, you are very welcome to come to China and come to Nanjing. What's your impression of this show?
A: I really like it here. I have also visited various booths in the past few days. I have found that everyone's participation is high, and professional visitors are very enthusiastic.
Q: This time I came to Nanjing and brought us those technological products.
A: The first is our [Z and J series], which is a very popular, lightweight, breathable backpack. In contact with the back part of the human body, we designed the CROSSFLO piggy back system, which is more breathable and comfortable on the back.
The second type is called "MIWOK&MAYA". Its characteristic is very simple and gives a clean feeling. Its function is also very outstanding, BIOSYNC's piggy back system makes it more fit back, things in the backpack will not shake back and forth during sports. At the same time, in order to lengthen the product line, our backpack capacity is designed to range from 5L to 44L. Judging from the style, backpacks are divided between men and women, with different emphasis on the user's feelings, because we think a good backpack should be as comfortable as wearing clothes.
Q: We know that Gregory's products are maintained for life. What was the reason for this service commitment?
A: At the beginning of the company's establishment, Wayne put forward a promise of "guaranteeing comfort." In fact, the comfort of the backpack is not independent, and it actually puts very good demands on the quality, technology, style, etc. of the product. So in the process of constant pursuit of excellence, we are confident not only to ensure comfort, but also to promise brand assurance in all aspects of the entire product.
In addition, we constantly accept feedback from customers and testers, improve products in our criticism and opinions, and form a virtuous circle, which also establishes trust between us and our customers.
Q: Can you tell us about the idea of ​​“seeking root China” for this activity? What is the next plan?
A: When the world economy is inseparable from the ever-growing Chinese economy, world culture is also inseparable from Chinese culture. In order to carry forward the great national spirit of the Chinese nation and promote the design of Chinese elements, we organized the [GREGORY Root-Seeking Tour - China Wind Design Competition] event.
