The Nuremberg International Toy Fair, the world's largest toy show, closed on February 2. There are 243 Chinese companies exhibiting, second only to the host Germany. However, in more than 10 exhibition halls, the most eye-catching locations and the most beautiful booths are not seen by Chinese companies. This phenomenon shows that on the one hand, China is already the world's largest toy producer and exporter; on the other hand, Chinese toy manufacturers still focus on OEM processing and are at the low end of the value chain. At the exhibition, our reporter interviewed a group of Chinese companies with their own brands and design features. Their experience shows that the toy industry can only find a way out of the “Created by China†road.
In front of a row of new and bright children's cars, two American guests excitedly discussed an electric car that they were looking at. Zhao Lei, general manager of the electric vehicle business unit of Kunshan Bairuikang Children's Products Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of the Goodbaby Group, told this reporter that many of their cars have been exclusively licensed by BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Audi and other manufacturers, and their appearance resembles the original car. “There is a £150 in the UK, which is £50 more expensive than the Italian competitors. The sales are still very good.†Zhao Lei recalls that when they first came to Nuremberg five years ago, they only had more than 10 square meters of booths. The main ones are children's electric vehicles that are designed for the domestic market and are outdated. At that time, a mini Cooper children's car was well received, and the Goodbaby Group tasted the sweetness of taking the brand and design route. In the past few years, their booths have expanded with the growth of their business and entered the professional exhibition hall of electric vehicles. "There is culture in the toy. For the electric car we make, it can be said to be a microcosm of the adult world car culture. By aligning the pulse of the European and American markets, we will not be satisfied with the OEM business for other manufacturers. Also need to establish their own brand marketing channels overseas." Zhao Lei said.
At the model airplane pavilion, Dave Hollins, the European manager of Dajiang Innovation Technology Co., Ltd., is demonstrating their latest release of the "flying camera." This model airplane comes with an HD camera that can be viewed and recorded in real time using a smartphone. Ltd. Dajiang Innovation Zhengchao Wen, director of marketing, said the reporter, Phantom 2 Vision is the world's first vertical takeoff and landing, small multi-rotor aircraft can be shot in the air. Dajiang Innovation Technology Co., Ltd. was established in 2006 and currently has more than 1,500 employees, including “80sâ€. In the past three years, the company's sales have grown at an average annual rate of 500%, making it the industry leader.
The No. 11 pavilion has opened several “Chinese boutique†corridors, with more than 100 Chinese companies stationed. The wooden kitchen designed by Ningbo Yuli Import & Export Co., Ltd., with the “Induction Cooker†button, the stove will give a “sweet†sound; the famous landscape three-dimensional puzzle developed by Shantou Lecuo Toy Industry Co., Ltd., let the children do it. At the same time, the relevant knowledge was learned; Jiangsu Kaiyuan Zhongxin Toys Co., Ltd. participated for the first time. After the exhibition, all the samples of plush toys were donated to the charity organization, and a brand display was made... The Schlumberger Exhibition held by the organizer of the Nuremberg Toy Fair in China Meng Chenjun, general manager of Service (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. believes that more and more Chinese toy companies are aware of the importance of upgrading their brands and technologies. Although toy exports generate about $12 billion in annual revenues to China, the profit margin is not high. As Europe and the United States continue to improve toy safety standards and China's domestic production costs, only by taking the brand and technology roads, Chinese toy companies can stand out.
Disposable Forks
Disposable forks are single-use utensils made of plastic or other materials that are designed to be thrown away after use. They are commonly used for eating take-out meals, at picnics, or for other outdoor events where it is not convenient or practical to use regular silverware. Disposable forks are lightweight, affordable, and easy to use, but they also contribute to plastic waste and environmental pollution. Some eco-friendly alternatives to disposable forks include biodegradable or Compostable Forks made from materials like cornstarch or bamboo.
