Unprecedented efficiency The SM 74 DI minimizes platemaking time. The electronic files that have been RIP-processed before printing are sent directly to the hard disk of the DI via the network, and the jobs to be printed are selected on the CP2000 to perform image printing at any time.
Onboard printing:
The SM 74 DI can be configured with up to six color groups. Prior to imaging, a flush-free thermal plate was assembled for each color using an automated device. Then select the job to be printed, press the imaging button, DI will use the four to six sets of laser devices to simultaneously image the plate, and 4-6 plates of exposure imaging will be completed in 3.5 minutes.
Printing preparation:
The accurate positioning of the automatic platen and the synchronous imaging of the printing plate ensure the most accurate first time registration, and the first printed sheet thus produced has a very accurate registration. The SM 74 DI features automatic ink transfer. The front-end Delta RIP can use the electronic file to generate the CIP 3 data-PPF file of the print. The PPF file is processed by the Heidelberg prepress interface program CPC 32 and converted into ink volume data, which is then directly transmitted from the network to the CP2000 console. , Automatically preset the ink volume of each ink zone of each color group before the official printing, the standard ink color can be obtained within 20-50 sheets of the official printing. From the experience of the SM 74 DI customers, for the normal four-color prints, the first print has excellent results in terms of register and ink, and the CP2000 can be used to make fine adjustments to achieve a very standard print.

Many operations can be controlled by a preset program. The CP2000 remotely controls the circumferential, horizontal and diagonal orientations and also controls the start of the ink fountain roller. CP2000 can store data of 250 prints internally for use when reprinting. When printing is in progress, it is already possible to start entering the settings for the next print, which greatly shortens the preparation time for printing.
Feida:
Heidelberg suction belt Feida, computer control automatically adapts to paper size and thickness. Standard electronic pull gauge control and double sheet detector automatically compensate for paper suction and blowing air volume. This ensures stable feeding while reducing the time required for changing the paper basket.
Automatic loading:
Without any tools, the change time of each color group is reduced to less than one minute, greatly improving the quality of registration.
Alcolor Continuous Dampening System:
A digitally controlled continuous dampening system with five dampening rollers with speed compensation. An intermediate roller with a hair dryer promotes the evaporation of excess fountain solution. Ensure the quality of the printed matter is stable and the contrast is obvious.
Automatic cleaning device:
Automatic cleaning device equipped with ink supply unit, blanket cylinder and impression cylinder, controlled by CP2000, minimizes preparation time and non-productive time.
