Corrugated box material cutting calculation
When determining the opening of the cardboard, core paper, liner, and center paper of corrugated cartons, it is necessary to accurately calculate the materials and reduce the waste of raw materials. The following takes the production of EQl04 host piston packing box as an example to illustrate.
A known:
(1) The dimensions in the carton are 43.5 cm long, 32 cm wide and 23.5 cm high.
(2) Carton touch line marks 1.5cm is a fixed size.
(3) 3~5cm is fixed in the carton fold.
(4) The dimensions of the two lids of the carton are each 16 cm.
1. Paper, core paper, liner paper cutting calculation
The size calculation process is as follows:
Long edge = lap size + touch size + box length + touch size + box width, ie
Long side = 5cm + 1.5cm + 43.5cm + 1.5cm + 32cm = 83.5cm
Wide side = cover size + touch size + box height size + touch size + cover size, ie
Wide edge = 16cm + 1.5cm + 23.5cm + 1.5cm + 16cm = 58.5cm
The actual size of the paper, paper, and paper in the paper is
Long side = 83.5cm + 4cm = 87.5cm
Wide edge = 58.5cm + 4cm = 62.5cm
Note: The length and width of the material to be cut shall be increased by 4cm.
2. Rolling corrugated paper cutting calculation
It is suggested that the shrinkage rate of thin paper corrugated molding is 20%, the shrinkage rate of standard paper corrugated molding is 25%, and the shrinkage rate of thick paper corrugated molding is 30%.
The size calculation results are as follows:
Corrugated paper length=87.5crn+(87.5cm×25%)=110cm
Corrugated paper width = 62.5cm (size unchanged)
3. Carton liner calculation
The length and width of the pad in the carton should be 1 cm shorter than the length and width of the carton. The result of the calculation is:
Length = 43.5-1 = 42.5 cm, width = 32-1 = 31 cm.
4. Carton opening calculation
The compartments in the carton are divided into upper and lower layers. The length, width and height of the inner compartment of the carton shall be less than the length, width and height of the empty dimension in the box by 1cm. The calculation results of the inner compartment size are as follows:
Length = 42.5 crn, width = 31 cm, height = 1.5 cm.
