The world’s first triple-format newspaper press is being installed and commissioned at Tamedia Media in Zurich, Switzerland. Installation began in November last year and successfully completed the first phase of the trial run in mid-February this year. The installation of the KBA company's latest product, the KBA COMMANDER, a three-width newspaper printer at the Tamedia Media Company in Zurich, includes a total of 16 9-roller satellite printing towers, 16 paper racks, 15 consoles and 5 Desk folding machine. The printing line is installed by the Scholpp Monttage of Stuttgart, a professional installation company that has a lot of cooperation with KBA.

The KBA 6/2Commander has a maximum paper tape width of 1920 mm and a roller diameter of 940 mm. Inauguration ceremony will be held in 2005. It will bear the printing of Tages-Anzeiger, Tamedia's main newspaper, and the Sunday newspaper Sonntags Zeitung and other newspapers.
