According to the annual inspection data, Hubei printing industry maintained a good development trend in 2008.

In 2008, there were 6,074 printing enterprises in Hubei Province, including 309 publication printing enterprises, 422 packaging and decoration printing enterprises, 1649 other printing and printing enterprises, 81 special typesetting, plate making and binding enterprises, and 3 digital printing enterprises.
