How to identify rubber wood and oak:

Oak furniture has fewer quality trees and higher prices. Due to its distinctive mountain-shaped wood grain, the clearer the oak wood grain, the higher the value. Rubber wood does not have the unique wood grain of oak. Oak has a unique clean feel. The commonly used dining table and other dark colors are more, consumers can carefully check whether there is coloring. There is also to see if the wood color is pure. Oak furniture is best to choose the color.

Rubber wood color is not pure, there will be speckles, black spots and so on. Consumers should pay special attention if they encounter darker colors (such as deep red, dark black, etc.) and are labeled as "oak furniture."

For the consumer, a simple method of identification can be used: the oak wood is very hard and the hand feels heavy, and it is difficult to tie the nails on it; the rubber wood is relatively soft and relatively light in hand.

In addition, cut a small piece of wood on the cross section of the two kinds of wood, and look at the cross-section of the grain with a magnifying glass. If the hole is thick and loose, the wood beam is net-like, it is rubber wood; if the pipe hole is small, The wood rays are very beautiful, some are tree-like, some are hand-printed, and they are oak.
