The national standard stipulates that the substrate used for the veneer-based wood-based panel is plywood, particleboard, medium-density fiberboard, etc., must be strictly selected and necessary processing, and can not leave the defects of the veneer quality. Therefore, the veneered substrate plywood should be Not less than the second-class products, the particleboard is not lower than the requirements of the first-class products, and the medium-density fiberboard should not be lower than the requirements of the first-class products.

Format size tolerance:

In the deviation of the length and width of the decorative veneer veneer of different substrates, when the substrate is plywood and particleboard, only a positive tolerance of 5 mm is allowed, and negative tolerance is not allowed. When the medium density fiberboard is attached, positive and negative 3 mm can be allowed. The thickness deviation is allowed to be between positive and negative 0.3-0.5 mm, and the difference between the diagonal lines should meet the requirements of the substrate product standard. The edge of the board is not more than 1 meter long and not more than 1 mm. The veneer veneer with a warpage of 6 mm or more shall not exceed 1.0%.

Appearance Quality:

The veneer veneer is divided into three grades, first-class and qualified products. For example, the double-sided veneered wood-based panels should ensure that the appearance quality of one side meets the specified grade requirements, and the appearance quality of the other side is not lower than the requirements of qualified products. Some defects can only be judged by visual inspection, and other defects are not allowed except for the fine items. If a defect occurs, it will be lowered depending on the seriousness of the defect.

Physical and mechanical properties check:

The national standard stipulates three indexes of water content, dip peeling and surface bonding strength. For example, the base material is plywood, the water content is allowed to be 6-1%, the substrate is particleboard and medium density fiberboard, and the water content is 4-13%.
