Recently, German polyvinyl chloride (PVC) production, manufacture, and users have jointly proposed a new solution for the recycling and use of used PVC products. The program will use thermal separation technology to treat waste PVC into hydrochloric acid and oil.
According to statistics, the Federal Republic of Germany currently uses 12 million tons of plastic products. About 400,000 tons of these products are used each year, and most of them are dumped or incinerated, which is extremely detrimental to the environment. Special equipment for PVC thermal separation treatment is adopted. Most of the waste plastics such as window frames, old pipes, and floor leather can be separated into hydrochloric acid and oil by thermal separation. Hydrochloric acid can be used as a raw material for PVC, and oil can be used as a fuel.
