At present, high-cleaning barrels have become the normal demand of many high-end users of steel drums. Under the circumstances of increasing user requirements, some barrel-making enterprises have begun to transform the production workshop to meet the production requirements of high-clean barrels. The most critical process for producing high-cleaning drums is in the latter stage, because even the front section is not clean enough during production, and can be cleaned cleanly in the post-coating pre-treatment process. Therefore, the cleanliness of the steel drum painting workshop is the key environment to ensure the production of high cleaning barrels.

First, what is cleanliness?

Cleanliness refers to the number of particles and the amount of particles contained in the air per unit volume, which is the standard for distinguishing the cleanliness of space.

Painting cleanliness refers to the air cleanliness (dust content) of the entire paint shop.

In fact, the paint shop has included the cleanliness of the surface of the steel drum, the degree of water pollution in the cleaning process, the drying and cleanliness of the air supply and compressed air, the cleanliness of the paint and various raw and auxiliary materials, etc. Manage projects to avoid secondary pollution from pollution sources.

A clean room (zone) is a room (area) that requires control of dust particles and microbial content.

According to the requirements of the production process, the clean area should be divided into a highly clean area and a general clean area. The number of microbes and the number of dust particles in the clean room (zone) need to be regularly monitored and recorded.

Second, the cleanliness standard

1. International Standard (ISO14644)

The air cleanliness standard is a limit indicator of the concentration of particles having a certain particle size per 1 m3 of air. The international clean room standard ISO14644 has nine levels of ISO1~9 (see ISO14644-1 below):

1. Daily monitoring: monitoring and testing of airborne particulate content in the workshop environment

According to the standard of cleanliness of the barrel industry, it can be divided into four areas (high clean area, clean area, general clean area, other areas). There is a quantitative data standard for the dust content of each area. In order to achieve the above grades, the dust content of the air in each part of the workshop can be measured regularly with a dust meter.

2, daily monitoring: workshop ventilation environment monitoring

The wind balance of the painting workshop must meet the process requirements, and the spray booth and the workshop must ensure a slight positive pressure. The rest of the area can maintain a normal pressure state. The ventilation environment of the workshop requires regular monitoring and statistics.

â—ŽThe operator must wear a one-time coverall when entering the spray booth, and change the one-time one-piece suit one day;

â—Ž Drying furnace process maintenance, maintenance should be carried out during the shutdown period according to the workshop process requirements;

â—ŽThe doors and windows of the paint booth should be kept closed every day, and the doors and windows should not be opened at will. When accepting the paint, first close the inner door and then open the outer door. After the paint has entered the workshop, close the outer door, then open the inner door and carry the paint. It is forbidden to open the inner and outer doors at the same time;

â—Ž In addition to the relevant staff in and out of the paint booth, other personnel are prohibited from entering;

â—Ž Before entering the workshop, the chemicals on the surface of the packaging drum must be lightly rubbed to ensure that they are clean before entering the workshop;

(2) Clean area:

â—Ž Pre-treatment raw materials are placed on the surface without dust, and the ground is kept clean;

â—ŽIn and out of the UBS spray booth, need to replace the labor insurance shoes;

(3) General clean areas and other areas:

â—ŽThe original auxiliary materials enter the workshop to check the cleanliness of the outer surface, so as to prevent dust from entering the workshop with the auxiliary materials;

â—ŽIt is necessary to clean the equipment, tooling and conveying device according to the cycle;

â—ŽThe factory and painting room should ensure micro positive pressure;

â—ŽIt is necessary to clean the tools such as process equipment and spraying tools regularly to ensure that the tools are cleaned of dust and debris.
