With the development of the plastics industry, a single ADC foaming agent can no longer meet the demand, so the modified ADC foaming agent came into being. Although China's ADC production capacity and process technology have made great progress, urea synthesis of hydrazine hydrate is still commonly used as raw material, and waste of resources and environmental pollution are serious. However, foreign countries mainly use ketone-nitrogen or hydrogen peroxide as raw materials for production. And hundreds of varieties have been developed, and there are still new varieties continue to come out to lead the market, basically no three modified waste, less investment, modified value-added products have greatly improved, and obtained high profits. In China, only ADC pure products can be produced, and only a few manufacturers have developed and produced limited varieties of modified ADC foaming agents. However, the output is not high, the performance is unstable, and the application range is narrow. The main reason is the sale and export of ADC raw powders. To provide primary raw materials for developed countries, therefore leaving pollution in the country and sending profits abroad, the industry lacks development stamina.
The modification of the ADC product is to optimize the gas generating volume, particle size, color, and thermal decomposition temperature of the foaming agent. The main ways to modify the ADC are to change certain reaction conditions during the preparation process, or to add certain additives, and refine the ADC particles. The ADC raw powder is added with additives, and different types of foaming agents are compounded to achieve the modification effect.
