Carbonless copy paper is a kind of pressure-sensitive recording paper, and has the function of directly printing and rewriting to develop color. It is a paper for general use in office automation and industry information, such as continuous accounting or general business accounting. In order to distinguish the order in each stack of tickets, a large amount of colored paper is required for the printing of the tickets. Therefore, color paper processing is a trend in the development of carbonless copy paper production. The carbonless copy paper is generally dyed and surface-stained. Our factory chose the latter method to produce carbonless copy paper with different colors, such as light red, light yellow, light blue and light green. After the surface is dyed, it has excellent paper quality, colorful colors, smooth and smooth surface, and easy printing and processing.
1 Selection of dyestuffs We chose domestic printing paste as the coloring agent. This color paste is made of a variety of colored pigments, dispersants and additives, and dispersed with water. The particle size is mostly less than 2μm. There is no active ion. It not only has good compatibility with carbonless copy paper coating, but also has bright color, acid and alkali resistance, does not add any fixing agent, and has good color fastness.

2 According to different color requirements, the amount of dye added is generally 0.5% of the solid content of the coating 2.0%. It is also possible to use two or more coating colorants to prepare the desired color.
3 Dye liquor preparation According to the process ratio, weighing into the ingredients bucket, dilute to the required concentration with warm water, stir evenly, pour into the disperser containing the coloring agent and capsule, and mix the coating with the colorant. Evenly, pump to a high frequency sieve and place it in a reserve tank for later use. Uneven coatings can stain the stained paper.
4 Dyeing method Our factory adopts the method of coating single-sided and double-sided dyeing of the base paper with good coloring effect.
The dyeing process is: CB coating solution + color slurry ← dilution + coloring membrane coiling → calendering → dryer cylinder → back coating → drying → base paper CF coating liquid color paste + color slurry ← dilution 5 Note 5.1 Color paste purchase Must be stored in a dry, cool, non-sunlit place, marked with a clear mark, do not mix, after the color paste should be covered, to prevent the color paste from changing.
5.2 Because the paper packing will absorb the dye, the amount of color paste should be increased or decreased according to the filler content of the raw paper.
5.3 Manufacturers producing colorants vary in the solid content and quality of their products. Therefore, it is better to use the same batch of color paste from the same manufacturer to produce a batch of paper.
5.4 When seasoning, the order of adding various chemical raw materials and color paste can not be reversed. It must be done strictly according to the technical requirements, otherwise the coating may flocculate easily, and the stain appears on the paper surface.
5.5 The amount of adhesive required for the paste added to the paste is slightly higher than the white paint.
5.6 If it is not possible to dispense with a colorant, two colorants can be used for color matching, but in order not to dim the color, it is best to use a colorant that does not exceed 10% of the amount of another colorant.
5.7 When changing the color, be sure to wash the drum, storage tank, conveying pipe, coating spokes, etc., to avoid color mixing. The dyeing of carbonless copy paper is crucial for the consumption of most of the dye on the surface of the paper. Using the above measures can solve this problem well and achieve a good dyeing effect.
