A few days ago, a carbon dioxide full-degradation masterbatch production line that filled the domestic blank passed the national acceptance inspection at the Mengxi Industrial Park in Ordos, Inner Mongolia.
According to reports, the CO2 full-degradation masterbatch project is a knowledge innovation project of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and was jointly developed by Inner Mongolia Mengxi Group and the Changchun Institute of Chemical Applications of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. It is mainly to use the carbon dioxide gas extracted from the kiln tail gas of cement enterprises to produce the complete degradable masterbatch, forming a scientific and reasonable industrial recycling chain.
After two years of trial production, the project now has an annual production capacity of 3,000 tons of carbon dioxide degradable masterbatch. It has become the world's largest carbon dioxide total degrader masterbatch production line. The project has been listed in the national "863" plan. At present, Mengxi Group's carbon dioxide degradable masterbatch products not only supply domestic processing enterprises that specialize in fully degradable plastics, but also export to the United States, Japan and other international markets for the production of biodegradable disposable medical products and disposable tableware.
