ABS synthesis technology gains industrial application in Jilin

Recently, the "ABS resin synthesis technology" researched and developed by Changchun University of Technology has been applied to the synthetic resin plant of Jilin Petrochemical Company. The performance indicators have reached the international advanced level. The ABS resin synthesis technology, also known as the new technology for the synthesis of high-quality ABS resin, was listed as a key scientific and technological project of the Science and Technology Department of Jilin Province. The scientific research personnel of the school designed the structure and shape of the ABS resin, realized the control of rubber particle size, grafting rate, and graft chain length, making the impact strength, tensile strength, bending modulus, and melt of the ABS resin. The performance indicators such as mass flow rate, glossiness and whiteness were comprehensively improved and reached the international advanced level.
