In 2010, at the invitation of the Japan Flexographic Association, a delegation visited Japan to strengthen exchanges and cooperation between the two countries' flexographic associations. These large-scale exchanges and events have made the cooperation between China Flexo Branch and the International Flexo Association a big step forward. 2. New technology exchange and professional book publishing Since its establishment in 1992, the Flexographic Committee has organized one or two national international flexographic printing technology seminars and exchanges every year. Since 1996, an international exhibition of soft gravure printing technology has been organized every 1-2 years. meeting. So far, more than ten such technical exchanges and exhibitions have been successfully organized, providing a platform for new technology exchanges for all parties in the flexographic printing industry. In addition, the Flexo Branch also signed a cooperative publishing agreement with the US FTA from 2005 to 2006, and organized domestic personnel to translate and publish the "Flexible Printing Principles and Practices" edited by the American FTA (as shown in Figure 1). A total of about 1.2 million words, divided into 4 volumes, and won the national foreign excellent scientific and technological works publishing special fund, which further enriched the theoretical basis of flexo printing technology. 3. Flexographic standard revision In order to ensure and improve the stability of the quality of flexographic products, in 1998, under the help and guidance of the National Standardization Administration (formerly the National Bureau of Standards) and the National Printing Standardization Technical Committee, the Flexographic Committee organized GB/T 17497-1998. The preparation and establishment of the national standard for flexographic decorative prints, including the printing quality data of different materials such as paper, film and corrugated cardboard. The standard was promulgated and implemented in April 1999, which has enabled China's flexographic printing technology to embark on a standardized and standardized road. Based on the development and improvement of flexographic printing technology for more than ten years, the flexographic branch has organized industry experts to revise the standard since 2011. In 2012, Flexo Branch cooperated with Shanghai Printing Technology Research Institute and planned to further develop the flexographic printing process standard to standardize the operating standards of flexo printing process, make flexo printing technology more standardized and standardized, and be in line with international standards. 4. Development of national professional standards for flexographic printing and plate making workers Flexo printing is a new printing job in China. The standards and specifications related to flexo printing were basically blank 20 years ago. In 2004, the Flexographic Committee was commissioned by the State Press and Publication Administration to assist in the organization of flexographic printing industry experts and participated in the formulation of national professional standards for flexographic printing and plate-making workers organized by the State Press and Publication Administration. Since then, the flexographic printing industry has specific standards and conditions for the knowledge and skills of printers and plate-making workers at all levels (ie, primary workers, intermediate workers, senior workers, technicians, senior technicians), for the national flexo industry. Talent training and training have set goals and directions, and have made great progress in the training and education of flexo talents. 5. Flexo talent training education The Flexo Club held dozens of technical exchanges and technical training classes before and after. In the first 10 years, the popularization education of the characteristics of flexo printing was mainly used. In the last 10 years, the professional content with high technical content which can improve the quality of flexo printing was mainly . After 2005, the Flexographic Branch collaborated with the Shanghai Press and Publication Education and Training Center to organize flexographic technicians to participate in the employee skill competition sponsored by the Shanghai Press and Publication Bureau. In the past few years, the competition has trained more than 100 senior technicians in flexo printing, and 6 of the first batch of flexographic technicians in China have been born. At present, they have obtained the professional title certificates issued by the Ministry of Labor and Social Security. In addition, Flexo Branch has established two flexographic talent training bases in Xi'an and Wenzhou, and established a flexo scholarship system in four institutions of higher learning, which greatly promoted the advancement of flexo printing technology. 6. Flexo printing and development According to incomplete statistics, during the “Eleventh Five-Year Plan†period, the number of new unit-type flexo printing machines in China is close to 100 per year, which indicates that the proportion of flexo printing in the entire printing market is increasing year by year. Among them, the most prominent is that in 1996 and 1999, the Flexographic Committee organized two "corrugated cardboard flexographic direct printing technology exchange demonstrations", which greatly improved the market share of flexo printing in the corrugated board printing market, within 3 years. Almost 90% of corrugated boxes have replaced the original offset printing process with a flexographic direct printing or pre-printing process. 7. Variety of flexo products In the past 20 years, the variety of flexo products has also undergone great changes and developments. It has gradually expanded from the original vest bag to cigarette packs, medicine packs, food packaging , milk cartons, beverage boxes, and composite packaging (such as toothpaste tubes). , in-mold labels , thermoplastic film packaging) and other fields. The flexo products that have been evaluated have been gradually upgraded from the original vest bag color prints to the current high-definition dot prints, and the quality of the products is getting higher and higher. Among them, some of the products that received the quality award were also sent to the US FTA to participate in the quality evaluation of the world's flexo products. So far, some of the products submitted for review have won the Bronze, Gold and Silver awards in 2005, 2007 and 2009 respectively. It is shown as the “Longfeng Chengxiang†cigarette package product that won the narrow-scale printing gold award in the 2007 US FTA flexo quality evaluation. This shows that the quality level of China's flexographic products is closing the gap with the international level. 10. Flexo market share growth According to incomplete statistics, between 1998 and 1999, flexo printing accounted for only about 3% of the packaging and printing industry . From 2008 to 2009, this value has been updated to 8% to 10%, and in 2012 it has exceeded 10%. . In 14 years, the share of flexo printing in the packaging and printing industry has increased by about 2.5 times, which is far less than other printing methods.
