Recently, the United States Liquid Polymer company developed a new type of nanocomposite adhesive Liquamelt.
This nano-adhesive is similar in performance to hot-melt adhesives, but does not require complicated glueing equipment. The addition of nanomaterials to the product ensures good bonding at high temperatures and humidity.
A company in Ohio in the United States has already used this material to glue automotive parts into cartons. When used, a coffee cup-sized heat exchanger transforms the solid adhesive into a hot-melt state, which is pumped to the gluing unit for sticking paper, cardboard, and various hard or soft plastic materials.
