In Table 1, the unqualified rate of the physical properties of the export carton in 2010 was 50% in August and 55% in November. The percentage of unqualified statistics for each test item is: compressive strength 4%, side pressure strength 1%, puncture strength 11%, adhesive strength 13%, burst strength 11%, and moisture 24%. Among them, moisture and adhesive strength account for a large proportion.
Transport performance test data statistics Transport performance test standard is GB19270-2009 water transport dangerous goods packaging inspection and safety specification, GB 19457-2009 dangerous goods paint packaging inspection and safety specification, SN0324-94 shipping export dangerous goods small gas container packaging inspection procedures and so on. The test object is a carton box for shipping dangerous goods. In 2010, altogether 102 batches were accepted for entrustment, 6 batches were unqualified, and the average failure rate was 6%, which was a large proportion of unsatisfactory drop test items.

Table 2 Comparison of the test results of export carton transport performance in 2010 with the comparison of physical performance tests in 2009: the average failure rate in 2009 was 44%, the failure rate of compressive strength was 2%, the failure rate of edge pressure was 3%, and the water was not qualified. The rate is 61%, the burst strength failure rate is 15%, the piercing strength failure rate is 7%, the bond strength failure rate is 12%; in 2010 the average failure rate is 36%, the compressive strength failure rate is 4%, and the edge pressure Intensity failure rate was 1%, water failure rate was 24%, burst strength failure rate was 11%, piercing strength failure rate was 11%, and bond strength failure rate was 13%.
Compared with 2009, the rate of unsatisfactory physical performance testing has declined in 2010, and the rate of unqualified water has improved significantly, but the failure rate of 36% is not too low. This still requires carton enterprises and regulatory authorities to redouble their efforts. Continue to work hard to improve the quality of the carton.

Transport performance test items have fallen and piled. It is tested with the physical product installed. The goods to be shipped in cartons are paints, pesticides, perfumes, lighters, etc. The inner packagings are glass bottles, tin cans, plastic cans, etc. Most of the unqualified problems are in falling items. The main reason is that the lining design is unreasonable.
Conclusion In 2010, it was a difficult year for the carton packaging industry. Raw materials increased significantly, but it was not easy to increase prices for packaging. Enterprises were in a state of micro profit. Under such circumstances, some companies have taken measures to cut corners and cut materials to seek profits. As a result, the quality of packaging has been reduced and the loss of goods is frequent. This is not a long-term solution. Only by making it stronger and bigger and doing a good job is the true development path.
