However, because synthetic paper is equivalent to a plastic film, it is difficult to absorb ink and must be printed with special ink or high-grade UV ink. Therefore, there is a certain limitation in printing. For this problem, the printing and packaging department of Wuhan University In-depth research has led to the development of new synthetic paper coating products that have been greatly improved by gravure printing or by coating on the surface of synthetic paper films such as PP, PVC, PET, HDPE, ABS, and PS in ordinary coating machines. The degree of printability has improved the printing performance of synthetic paper, making it suitable for general printing methods and general printing ink printing processes, so that the printability is good, and counterinsurgency, letterpress, gravure, offset, screens can be used. For printing methods such as flexographic printing, water-based inks and solvent-based inks can be used. Pencils and ballpoint pens can also be used to write directly.
Synthetic paper coating new products have a series of products, one is the use of waste polystyrene foam as the main raw material, made of paint chain material, and then combined with fillers, additives and other composite grinding, this product is "to control white pollution" Changed to "waste for treasure", so the cost is low, raw materials are widely available, and is the state to support the environmental protection industry. Its raw material cost is only 6 yuan/kg. The other is a mixed solvent type alcohol-soluble product and a water-soluble product, and the raw material costs are 8.5 yuan/kg, 8 yuan/kg, and 10 yuan/kg, respectively. The series of coating products have stable performance, good attachment fastness, fineness ≤15μm, rapid drying, surface tension of over 38×10-5, and water, alkali and chemical resistance.
