On July 1, the Digital Printing Systems Division of Mann Rolland was announced.

At Drupa 2000, Mann Rolland exhibited a sensational DICOweb digital press. This is a digital printing machine that truly integrates the entire process from prepress to bookbinding. According to Roland's plan, the economic price of this system is located in the personalized printing market with a print volume of 1,000 to 20,000. During Drupa 2000, Man Rowland sold 8 DICOwebs.

The establishment of the MAN Roland Digital Printing Systems Division was primarily aimed at expanding DICOweb's development, manufacturing, sales and services. Since May of this year, according to the OEM agreement signed with Xeikon, Mann Rolland will sell digital presses including DICOweb, DICOpage, DICOpack and DICOpress under its own trademark. The latter three are professional digital printing systems developed to make up for the shortcomings of DICOweb in short-run business.

According to reports, the Mann Rolland Digital Printing Systems Division is headed by Dr. J. Schneider; Mann Rolland Company acquired more than 100 sales and service experts from Man Loland after acquiring the Digital Printing Systems Division of Agfa. Roland Digital Printing Systems Division provides strong support. In this regard, high-level officials of the Mann Rolland Company believe that experts from Agfa are very familiar with Xeikon's digital printing system, and Manroland will make full use of this to introduce digital printing systems to its customers and quickly establish Strong digital printing sales and service system.

Mr. G. Finkbeiner, Man Roland’s CEO, also clearly saw the bright future of this investment. He thought, “Now Man Roland can provide a full range of printing business. From single leaflets to millions of circulation. Newspapers, Man Roland equipment can be completed." He predicted, "The new business department can complete 200 million marks in the first two years of turnover, in the further future, can complete 10% of Mann Rolland's total turnover" .
