Alipay accesses the intelligent POS system of 170,000 merchants in Japan

In the future, Chinese tourists can use Alipay scan code to pay when they consume, no longer need to exchange Japanese yen and bear the risk of depreciation of the yen, and obtain Japanese travel information and enjoy exclusive offers. Recruit's smart POS network is focused on catering, apparel, beauty salons, retail and other industries throughout Japan. The first merchants to access Alipay have a total of nearly 200 stores across Japan, including five popular brands that Chinese tourists must visit: the main store is located in Tokyo's Ikebukuro's main home appliance camera Bic Camera, the main young fashion department store PARCO Osaka’s grilled chain store, Tanaka Grill, Okinawa Naha Airport’s well-known specialty duty-free shop, Airport Trading, Okinawa’s large amusement park, Umikaji Terrace, etc. Among them, PARCO and Bic Camera, which are located in various regions of Japan, will first try Alipay payment at their respective stores. Recruit Lifestyle hopes that the 176,000 merchants covered by its network will be able to easily access Alipay through the smart POS system during the year.
