Due to the installation position of the sensor, the state of the measured pipeline has a great influence on the measurement accuracy, so please select a location that meets the following conditions.

1. The pipe has good roundness, smooth inner surface and even wall.

2. Straight pipe section of 5D on the upstream side and 3D on the downstream side. Note "D is the inner diameter of the pipe".

3. The tested pipeline must be filled with liquid.

4. There must be enough space to facilitate the installation and operation of the sensor.

5. In the horizontal measured pipeline, the sensor should not be installed on the top and bottom of the pipeline, and avoid the unevenness of the pipeline and the welding seam.

Sensor installation

1. Remove the paint, rust, and dirt on the wall of the tube about the area about twice as large as the sensor. The exposed metal should be free of unevenness.

2. Install the fastener on the pipeline and fix it on the pipeline with a stainless steel band, which should not be loosened.

3. Lay the cable and connect it to the terminal in the junction box through the cable access hole.

4. After applying a thick layer of coupling agent (butter) on the front of each sensor transducer, contact the sensor transducer surface with the pipe wall, place it in the fastening assembly, and press the sensor with a compression cover plate. Coupling agent should be extruded from the gap around the sensor to form a seal. Tighten the screw button tightly, and pay attention to the four screws to make sure the force is even, and do not make the sensor offset.
