Illustrator itself comes with a CD board template, we use it to slightly modify it.

Let's take a look at the completed renderings:

Find Sample Files>Template Samples>CDROMLabel.ai in the Illustrator directory, open it and save it as another new file, and then modify and edit this new saved file.

Production steps:

1, lock the original layer, and create a new layer.

2. Draw a rectangle on the newly created layer, which is suitable for the size of CDROM (about 3mm bleeding can be considered at this step), and fill the default gradient. (Note: You can often enlarge the preview)

3, the gradient of white to c30m50y25k5 color, hold down the shift click on the color bar can switch the color mode, the black to c19, m100, y40, k40, as shown.

4, then select object> expand, the default number of steps 120. You can press ctrl+H (hidden selection) to see the effect.

5. Keep selected and select object>Clipping Mask>Release to release the mask.
